Students stage protest against CBSE Board, demand resignation of Chairman of Board | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 2: Scores of CBSE Board students on Monday intensified protest against the alleged leakage of class 10th mathematics and class 12th economics papers. The student assembled near Dogra Chowk and raised slogans against the CBSE Board and demanded resignation of CBSE chairman, Anita karwal and accused the board of negligence. Majority of aggrieved students alleged that they will not take part in the re examination as they are not responsible for paper leakage. Meanwhile, students staged protest demonstration in Gandhi Nagar area by burning tyres meanwhile SDPO City East Rafiq Manhas reached on the spot and assured the protesting students for taking up the issue with concerned authorities. Karandeep Singh Lucky (social worker) and Aastik Kohli (student leader) said that students were being made to suffer due to the negligence of CBSE Board and the board was playing with the future of students by conducting re-examination. Students of DPS, KC Public School, KV school along with students of other schools were present in the protest. |
