| Fire guts CHC Hajin in Bandipora district | | |

BANDIPORA, Apr 2: An abandoned two storey building of Community Health Centre (CHC) gutted in a fire incident on Monday in Hajin area of district Bandipora.
An official said that fire broke out in the abandoned building situated just a few yards from BMO office Hajin at about 3 am. Fire tenders were rushed to spot to douse the flames, but not before the second storey of the building was completely damaged.
The official added that it was a 40-year-old building and had no electricity connection so it's gutting was mysterious. However sources told that action of locals along with fire tenders managed to douse the flames but till that building was completely gutted.
Meanwhile, police has registered a report in this regard and investigation has been taken up. |
