| PHE fails in maintaining water supply: Jan | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Apr 2: PHE Department failed in maintaining the supply, as a result of which people were suffering stated Youth National Conference Provincial President and former MLA Ajaz Jan.
He expressed serious concern over prevailing acute water crisis in Poonch and Mandi area, Addressing NC workers of Mandi block, Jan assailed the PDP-BJP dispensation for betraying the people, especially those living in remote and backward areas. He said the government seems to be invisible on ground.
Jan cautioned the coalition government against testing the patience of people, who feel let down due to misgovernance and administrative inertia, and address to their problems, which are accumulating with each passing day. He said the government has failed on all fronts and the promises made have proved big hoax. He said lack of accountability has taken toll of development as a result of which the people are deprived of utility services. On drinking water crisis, Jan said, "There is no proper tanker facility with department while water supply is completely erratic and irregular in all the areas of Mandi." He urged the district administration to immediately intervene in the situation to give respite to masses. |
