| JDA floats Rs 60 Cr tenders to develop 144 flats | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 6: Continuing its efforts to develop the infrastructure in city of temples, the Jammu Development Authority yet in another important initiative, decided to develop 144 flats at Muthi. The same was disclosed by Vice Chairman JDA Rajesh Shavan while interacting with officers concerned during a meeting.
Speaking to Early Times, VC JDA said that the Jammu Development Authority is constructing 144 more flats at Muthi and the cost of the project is approximately Rs. 60 crores. It is pertinent to mention that JDA is already constructing 72 flats at Muthi and the work is at the advanced stage where JDA is expecting completion by the end of August this year. These flats are 3 BHK and have the entire booked in advance by the people at the cost of 54 lakh per flat. However, now the JDA has started constructing shopping mall in the complex and already built the vegetable market which has increased the value of the site. In addition, the Authority has started constructing big park opposite to these flats which will provide the eco-friendly atmosphere in the surroundings. The complex will have club and adequate car parking. In view of this the JDA has initiated the process for constructing more 144 flats which will have 2 BHK, 3BHK and 5BHK blocks enabling the people to buy as per their convenience.
It is pertinent to mention that the Development Authority intends to provide Housing facilities to the citizen so that the people can have dignified life and settlements as per the laid out plan in consonance with Master Plan. The Vice Chairman JDA further said that JDA is working hard to carve out some Housing Colonies also so that people get plots at cheaper rates. |
