3 schools, agriculture office found locked | Show cause notices issued to around 100 employees | | Early Times Report Poonch, Apr 6: In order to ensure punctuality and promote work culture in Government offices, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mohammed Aijaz Asad has constituted flying squads/teams consisting of senior officers of district administration and sub divisional administration. Pursuant to the directions, of DC, the teams headed by ADDC in Haveli, SDM Surnkote, Tehsildar Balakote, Tehsildar Mankote conducted surprise visits/ checking in early working hours at various Government offices including educational institutions in their respective jurisdictions. During the checking three schools including Government Primary School Lower Batidaar, Government Primary School Parat, Government Primary School Narol were founded locked around 12 noon in Mendhar while Agriculture Office Mankote was also found completely locked. During further inspection five employees of Sheep Farm Balnoi besides a number of employees from Tehsil Mandi and other government institutions were found unauthorizedly absent from their duties. Taking strong cognizance, of dereliction of their duties, show cause notice has been served upon more than 100 employees and their controlling officers as well. Directions were also given to concerned treasuries to withhold the salaries of the erring officials. |
