| Killing of youth in Kashmir was failure of state police: Bhim Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 6: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee, J&K has urged President of India, Ramnath Kovind to graciously accept Chief Minister's admission that killing of a Kashmiri youth the other day was because of the failure of the state police. She has made this admission which cannot be ignored by the President of India who is the only authority in the country who has constitutional power to advice the Governor of J&K to dismiss the present government in the state.
Article 370 in the Constitution of India provides that Governor of J&K shall impose Governor Rule in the state by dismissing the government when he is authorized by the President of India within the meaning and scope of Section 92 of the Constitution of J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh has urged the President of India who has been a distinguished advocate in the Supreme Court of India also that the Chief Minister of J&K had admitted that the killing of a youth two days back in Kashmir Valley was because of the fault of J&K police. The Chief Minister is herself Incharge of police affairs as well as the situation dealing with law and order in the state. The Supreme Court Sr. Advocate has urged on the President to India to advice Governor of J&K to dismiss the present PDP-BJP government in the state which is headed by Mehbooba Mufti. |
