| Angawari workers hold protests | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Apr 6: Anganwari Workers and Helpers today staged protest demonstration against the coalition government for not conceding their demands at canal park Vijaypur in district samba here today.
The protest held under the leadership of Neelam Sharma Gen secretary Anganwari Workers and Helper Union Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of the anganwari workers and helpers assembled in the canal park Vijaypur today morning under the banner of Anganwari Workers and Helper Union Jammu and Kashmir.
They raised slogan and shouting against the collation government. They alleged that the present government failed in all fronts.
They alleged that the anganwari workers without salary for last eight months and they have faced many difficulties for without salaries.
The protesting Anganwadi workers and helpers said that they are receiving very low honorarium as compared to the other states. They also demanding the pay increase Rs 3600 to Rs 10,000 for Anganwari workers and Rs 1800 to Rs 6000 for helpers and permanent of Anganwari workers.
Neelam Sharma Gen secretary said that they were continuing their strike for last sixty-four days but the coalition government totally failed full fill their demands. |
