Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 7: The Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacists Association (JKGPA) has appealed the state government to settle all the issues pertaining to their cadre so that the Health Services in the state could be taken to the mark of perfection. Addressing a press conference here today, the president JKGPA Choudhary Jarnail Singh demanded to resolve all the pending issues concerning the pharmacists. While talking to the media persons, Jarnail Singh on behalf of his Association extended his full support to Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation's (JKMEF's) protest dharna which is to be staged on April at Directorate of Health Services, Jammu office complex. Singh said that the major issues which needs immediate redressal include the issuance of DPC orders of all the categories immediately, enhancement of entry level grade pay of pharmacists from 2400 to 4200, running grade for pharmacists i.e. after rendering 5, 10 and 15 years of services as the practice is already in department, upgradation/ creation of post of Pharmacist as Block and District Pharmacy Officer and implementation of Pharmacy Act in J&K. |
