| Ladda villagers protest against Education Deptt | | | UDHAMPUR, Apr 7: Demanding provision of adequate staff in Government High Schoo Ladda in tehsil Pancheri, the locals of village Ladda as well as school students staged a protest demonstration against the education department here today in front of the DC office.
The protestors alleged that the studies of the students are getting hampered due to the shortage of staff in the school adding that the High School has about 250 students but only four teachers are posted there.
They said that the students are facing problems to get their queries solved pertaining to their subjects. Protesting people also complained that that there is no proper sitting arrangement in the school.
Later, a memorandum of demands was submitted before the DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar who assured to resolve their problems as early as possible.
