| World Health Day observed at Ghat | | |  Early Times Report
Doda, Apr 7: The Department of Health and Family Welfare and BPMU NHM Ghat under the supervision of Block Medical Officer Ghat Dr Mohammad Fareed Bhat organized an awareness programme at Block Hqr Ghat in Doda District.
The main objective of observing this day is to raise public awareness towards health issue and its concern. District President NHM Union Doda, Faizan A Tramboo conducting the proceedings of the programme who in his welcome address briefed the participants about the various aspects of this day.
Speaking on the occasion, BMO Ghat Dr Mohammad Fareed Bhat highlighted the importance of this day which is being observed globally and relevance of its celebrations. Dr Bhat exhorted upon the participants to take part actively in such activities which are highly beneficial for over all development, emphasized be capable of facing the future challenges successfully besides laid stress on health and hygience in maintaining healthy lifestyle.
Dr Shakir Hussain, Smt Bimla Devi and Hoshiyar Singh Rakhwal were among others who also spoke on the occasion. |
