Rain water enters into shops in Sarwal, Vikas Nagar | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 10: Rain water entered into shops and number of nallahs including drains in Sarwal and Vikas Nagar, which were built to ensure the free flow of sewage and rain water in the city, are choked with plastic. Shopkeepers said due to rain, the water entered into their shops which caused great damage to the shopkeepers dealing in Karyana, Cosmetics, Stationery and General Stores. "We are responsible for that and we have to find out solution so that same will not be affected during rainy season. You can see the plastic and polythene as well as major items found in the drain, which are choking the flowing water. The stagnant water was also becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes," they added. |
