JWAM stages protest rally against Govt's failure to deport Rohingyas | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 10: Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement led a mass protest rally "Shav Yatra" here on Tuesday against the failure of the PDP-BJP government to deport Rohingyas and other illegal migrants from Jammu. Protesters burnt effigies of the BJP-PDP Govt on Janipur High Court road, demanding imposition of the Governor Rule. Addressing the protestors Sunil Dimple threatened to call for the "continuation of indefinite Jammu bandh", after "Jammu bandh" on Wednesday. He said we "will call for and continue indefinite Jammu Bandh" from 12 April if in the cabinet meeting, the anti Jammu order to make the Jammu Kashmir state an authoritarian state. "Government seems hell bent upon changing the demography of Jammu. If Rohingya and Bangladeshis are not deported from the Jammu region we will call for idenite Jammu bandh," Dimple said. He demanded that murder case of Kathua girl should be handed over to CBI. |
