| CPPWU criticises GM DPS for 'violating labour law' | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 13: Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar has criticised the General Manager Dul Hasti Power Station for violating labour law.
Joginder Bhandari Chairman of the union said that the workers engaged with various contractor have denied safety like equipments even the workers are not being transport facility, uniform, shoes, hand gloves, helmets etc.
He further added and said that it has been reported that the General Manager DPS is going to cancel Sunday holiday to the contract workers, the DPS authority has also decided to remove some workers which has caused a brewing resentment among the workers.
Bhandari has urged upon the Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar to conduct surprise visit to all the sities of Dul Hasti Power station and take stock of the situation of contract workers. |
