Jammu, Apr 13: Delhi Public School today brought laurels for the state in inter school painting competition and art exhibition. Nine students of DPS Jammu won several prizes in the Inter-School Painting Competition and Art Exhibition organized by Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu at Gulshan Ground, Jammu in Red Cross Mela. Snigdha Gupta (V-E) won Consolation Prize in Junior Group, Aryan Sharma (VIII-B) won Ist Prize in Senior Group, Lavanya Talwar (IX-A) won 3rd Prize in Senior Group, The above event was inaugurated by Governor, N.N. Vohra while the winners were felicitated by DGP Dr. S.P. Vaid and Divisional Commissioner Hemant Kumar Sharma. Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the students and the Senior Art Teacher, Suresh Sharma for their exceptional performance. She also felicitated the students during the special assembly in the school. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion. President, RCT, M.K. Ajatshatru Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Jammu, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Hon'ble Director DPS Jammu, SS Sodhi Ji also extended their best wishes to the winners. |
