Week-long celebrations of Sangarsh concludes

Rajouri, Apr 13: The week-long celebrations of Sangarsh-A Civic Movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood concluded here today with the conduct of impressive valedictory function in which prizes were distributed to the winners of various activities held during Rajouri Day Celebrations under Display Your Talent Contest. The proceedings of the programme commenced with lightening of traditional lamp followed by patriotic song presentations.
In the poster making contest Hami Sharma of Himalyan Education Mission bagged the first position while the 2nd prize was won by Usma Farook of same institution. Also, the 3rd position was shared by Nousheen Dar and Roheena Wani of the same institution.
In the senior category of Quiz competition the first two positions were clinched by Usma Raina and Nancy Kapoor respectively of Himalyan Education Mission while the 3rd position was secured by Irfan Nayeem of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. In the Junior category the first prize won by Nadish Malik of Himalyan Education Mission whereas the 2nd prize was shared by Mohd Sameer of Himalyan Education Mission and Hardik Vikas Dutta of Delhi Public School. Further, the 3rd prize was shared was Layeba Mir and Mohd Saqeeb of Himalyan Education Mission and Delhi Public School.
In the essay writing competition the first position was bagged by Gunasvi Datta of National Public Higher Secondary School and the 2nd &3rd prizes were won by Laiyeba Mir and Mohd Sameer of Himalyan Education Mission.
In the seminar on My Vision My Concern for Rajouri the first position was secured by Danish Bashir of Govt. Degree College, Thanamandi while the 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Farkhanda Kokab of Govt. PG College, Rajouri and Sayed Mudasir Shah of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri.
Distributing the prizes among the winning candidates the Chief Guest Sh. Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MoS and Vice Chairman Pahari Advisory Board has applauded the Sangarsh movement for holding such a mega event which has provided the opportunity to the youth and students of the area to explore their talents which will help them in excelling in various sectors of life.
