| WSGNN holds meeting, rues lack of development in Nanak Ngr | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 13: The executive committee meeting of Welfare Society Guru Nanak Nagar (WSGNN) Jammu was held under the chairmanship of A S Khera Advocate in which Balwinder Singh Rinku President took up the matter of development works of Nanak Nagar area.
It was pointed out that almost no development work has been carried out by the present government for the last four years and whatever has been done is nothing more than an eye wash which is evident from the fact that patches on the roads have been left inlaid while black topping even on the road leading to the house of a MLC is in dilapidate condition.
It is the height of casualness in which the public of Nanak Nagar has been taken forgranted.
The meeting was told that the left out patches are not only cause of inconvenience but are capable of causing accidents.
The Society appealed to the government to break its silence in the matter and not to give step motherly treatment to Nanak Nagar in terms of development. Prominent among others who attended the meeting are Ajay Mahajan Sr Vice-president, Hardeep Singh vice president, Pawan Sharma vice president, Sanjeev Talwar general secretary and others. |
