| YMWC members call on MLA Jammu West | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 13: A deputation of the members of Youth Mohalla Welfare Committee (YMWC) met with Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu West and apprised him of the problems being faced by the residents of the area. The deputation was led by Jatinder Khajuria, president, YMWC.
The main points discussed by the committee members were shortage of water supply, pathetic condition of lanes and drains, improper working of sweepers etc. Committee members told him that the addressing the problem of water scarcity is a long pending demand which is not been taken care of. They said that if the concerned employees of the department continue to show their callous attitude towards this problem, the residents will be forced to go on streets for the immediate solution of this problem.
MLA Sharma gave them a patient hearing and assured them that these points will be catered soon. |
