| Rajouri ADC suspends PHE JE, seeks explanation from AEE | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 13: A junior Engineer of PHE department has been suspended for non-performance and for un-authorised absence from duty while Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) has been asked to explain his position why he had left the station/ State without prior intimation to senior officer or to the Local administration.
The action was taken by Shafiq Ahmed, Additional DC (ADC)( Kotranka vide his office order No ADC/Ktr/camp/Raj/of 13/4/18and JE, Diwan Raj was suspended immediately and was directed to report to the office of ADC and in this connection a separate charge sheet will be issued.
Under this order Treasury officer, Kotranka has also been directed not to entertain the bills/ signatures of the AEE till further order.
During recent anti-encroachment drive a state land was retrieved in Kotranka town by the local administration by dismantling few unauthorised/illegal structures.
"After some complaints of re-encroachment on the retrieved land, local administration on the directions from the DDC begins the work to fence the retrieved land about fortnight ago and for that AEE and JE were directed to lay water pipes for the construction work within two days" said ADC.
He added recently some people complaint that as the land was yet to fence, AEE Ashish Sharma was contacted today but his location was found out of state while the location of Diwan Raj was traced at Jammu and both the officials have left the station without any intimation either to senior concerned officers or to the local administration. On further inquiry the water pipes were found locked in a room by employees whose location was also not traced. The matter was brought into the notice of DDC and on his direction, ADC has taken action against both the officers. |
