SIPS organizes visit to Soil Conservation Department | | | Early Times Report Jammu, April 23: A visit to Soil Conservation Department was organized by Stephens International Public School under ISA - British Council Accredited Programme. Balwant Singh, Range Officer of Department welcomed the students and briefed them about the need to protect wild life as it is imperative to maintain ecological balance. A fun day at Soil conservation department satiated the curiosity of students of Class III & IV. Running behind the beautiful colored and fluttering butterflies, children were educated about the numerous varieties of butterflies that exists in the vicinity. The students caught the butterflies with the help of nets and observed different colours, designs through magnifying glasses and at the end released the butterflies. At the end chocolates were distributed among students as a token of love. The visit was very informative and educative. This experience will be etched in their minds forever. This field trip was highly appreciated by the Director of the School Satvinder Saini, The Principal Manoj Kumar Agnihotri & Dean Academics Rama Jamwal. The trip was successfully organized under the guidance of Headmistress Inderjeet Kour in assistance with Gurmeet Kour, Parminder Kour & Davinder Kour. |
