Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 23: Even as the students are facing the consequence of the deceit and greed of few vested interests, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is yet to take action against the private schools, found guilty of 'paper leak', despite identifying them recently. According to sources, within the department, the JKBOSE officials had identified couple of private schools who had indulged in 'Paper leak' of class 11th. Prof Veena Pandita, Chairperson of JK BOSE had ordered constitution of an inquiry committee to look into the paper leak case for the investigations. She had also issued directions to all the Heads of the Institutions (Government as well as Private), to bring sealed packets of question papers received in the respective Sub / Branch and Divisional offices of JK BOSE from April 6. "On the basis of physical verification of these packets, we will be able to ascertain fiddling with the sealed packs and consequent paper leakage", said Veena Pandita in her directions. "Despite identifying the schools, who had been involved in the paper leak scam, the officials at JKBOSE have failed to take action against them," said sources, adding that some officials in the board are, however, trying to hush the matter. If sources are to be believed, some officials of the Board are believed to be in nexus with private schools in the paper leak scam. "Some officials of the JKBOSE are trying to hush up the matter, as they are delaying the process of investigation," said sources, adding that many senior officers are also believed to be involved in this scam. Sources further asserted that though the board officers have identified the private schools who indulged in the paper leak, but senior officers are delaying the process, because they are apprehensive that it may expose many officials. |
