Fencing, filling gaps along borders is underway: BSF ADG | | | Arun Jasrotia Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 28: Kamal Nayan Choubey Additional Director General of Border security force Western Command today told Early times that infiltration was a big challenge in Jammu, Kashmir as well as in Punjab. "To stop infiltration, we take many preventative measures like working on fencing of border area as well as filling the gaps. Now a days highly qualified youths in BSF are trained to handle latest technologies as well as handing of latest weapons," he said. He added that Naxalite movement was also a big problem. "We train our men in such a way so that they meet the challenges." The ADG without naming Pakistan said the country has always been trying to create problems for us but we have been giving them a befitting reply. He added that Director General Border Security force also launched Yoga Camps in all BSF Posts and Camps to make Jawans free from stress. "The whole world today is taking to yoga for overall health at physical, mental and psychic levels. The initiative has been necessitated due to the escalating stress level in the BSF personnel because of very hectic duties," he said. |
