Jammu, Apr 28: The signature campaign launched by National Secular Forum (NSF) for CBI enquiry in Rasana murder and rape case, today entered 4th day. More than thirty five hundred people from all walks of life reached the venue to pen down their signatures. Addressing the gathering here today, NSF leader Pushpinder Singh said, "There is an iota of doubt about the brutality to which the little girl was subjected. Every citizen of Jammu condemns this incident and seeks death penalty to the person who committed this heinous crime. But, the way the Crime Branch probed this case raised suspicion among the people of Jammu," Rishikesh Rana blamed the state government for creating hostile situation of hatred dividing people of different communities hitherto known for living in cordial and harmonious manner since decades. He also said that who questioned that how can asking for CBI enquiry into the gruesome rape and murder of innocent girl constitute an act of defending the real culprits behind the crime. Among those who attended the signature campaign included Anshu Sharma, Darpan Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Sahil Sharma and others. |
