YCET organizes Aptitude Test | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: Department of Applied Sciences organized an Aptitude test for the students of Second semester. The test was designed to assess the logical reasoning and thinking ability. It was actually a way to represent student's level of competency to perform a certain type of task and to assess academic potential or career suitability. In his interaction with the students Head of the Department Rakesh Verma stressed upon the importance of Aptitude Test. An aptitude test is an important part of the screening process for potential employers. He further added that by staying up to date with aptitude tests, you will know your strengths and weaknesses and be able to score well for each potential employer. He said as most of the multinational companies take the aptitude test of a person trying for the job so he has taken this initiative to prepare the student from the very beginning. This would be beneficial for them when they go for recruitment. Around 150 students from different branches participated in this test with great zeal and enthusiasm. The test consisted of MCQ's including reasoning, quantitative attitude, English language and computer knowledge. Director YCET Dr. Arvind Devangan congratulated the participants & staff of Applied Department for such an initiative. |
