| Auto Awareness Rally held at Rajouri, IEC material distributed | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Apr 28: Under Road Safety Week, Motor Vehicles Department today organized an 'Auto Rickshaw' awareness rally in Rajouri to make masses aware about traffic rules and regulations.
The rally was flagged off by Additional SP Rajouri, Mohammad Yousuf in presence of MVD Inspectors Ranjeev Bhasin and Aslam Parvez. Dozens of auto rickshaws participated in this rally which was flagged off from new bus stand Salani and than moved from Panja Chowk, Jawahar Nagar, Khandli, Dhangri, Muradour and ended back at new bus stand.
Banners making people aware about traffic rules and regulations were also displayed on these auto rickshaws. Additional SP Rajouri appealed auto rickshaw drivers to follow traffic rules and regulations in spirit and especially to minimize the trend of parking their vehicles in between road which leads to traffic congestion. Bhasin laid checking point on different roads and distributed IEC material regarding traffic rules and regulations among drivers. |
