Jammu, Apr 28: Chief Engineer KK Gupta after serving 58 years in govt service got superannuated today. As per release during this period many ongoing irrigation and flood control schemes were compiled successfully. He remained posted as chief engineer PHE department Jammu for more than one year and during the period maximum number of uncovered areas in Jammu were provided with potable water supply the release further added. The project for augmentation of water supply to Jammu city by tapping River Chenab at Akhnoor by underground tunneling, in a length of three kilometers by latest technology war conceived and submitted to the administrative department. He also served as Chief engineer Ravi Tawi projects and Chenab valley power projects the release added. |
