Poonch, May 10: High-mast lights is a tall pole with lights attached to the top pointing towards the ground.
Usually it is used at sites requiring lighting over a large area. Poonch has been facilitated with large number of lights all over the town but ET found most of the lights non functional.
People have complained that these lights often remain inactive due to which there are chances of theft or some miss happening.
The locals have urged the authorities to make the lights functional. |
