Saahil Suhail Early Times Report Anantnag, May 10: Raising further concern over tourists' safety, a 30 year old youth Rahul Bhasin, who came to Kashmir along with his friends, has gone missing from Mattan town of South Kashmir's Anantnag District under mysterious conditions on Thursday afternoon. Reports said that the missing tourist with his twelve friends had came to Mattan to perform rituals at famous temple in the town. Most of the group members, they said were from New Delhi, however missing tourist identified as Rahul Bhasin s/o Bharat Bushan Bhasin, is a resident of Kundli Haryana. Mata Ji, a female Sadhu, accompanying the group told Early Times that the Rahul went missing at around 12:30 pm in Mattan where they had gone to perform religious rituals. She said that they have approached police and registered a missing report. "He is my follower and is mentally fit. We had gone Mattan to perform religious rituals," she said, adding missing tourist owns tyre business in Haryanna. At 9:00pm, she said that they were in way to Srinagar. "We are moving back to our hotel in Srinagar. We try to find their as well," she added. Neanwhile, Mattan Police has registered a missing report (DD 28/2018) and started conducting searchs for tracing the missing pilgrim tourist. However, Anantnag Police didn't provide any details despite being contacted. Kashmir Tourism Police also expressed ignorance about the missing of tourist. "I haven't came across to such development," SP Tourism Kashmir told Early Times over phone. He said that his sub-ordinate officials also didn't inform him about the missing of pilgrim tourist. Earlier in this week, 22 year old Tourist died after stone-pelters attacked a vehcile in which he was travelling with his family.
