Jammu, May 10: In a petition filed by Akhil Kumar Gupta seeking quashment of the allotment of MD Anesthesia seat to the Babli Atri vide notification no. 31-BOPEE of 2018 dated 7.5.2018 being in utter breach of Rule 15 of the J&K Reservation Rules, 2005.
Justice Alok Aradhe of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Veenu Gupta for the petitioner, directed that one post which had fallen vacant in respect of MD Anesthesia under Schedule Caste Category for which Special round of counselling held today, shall not be filled-up tomorrow.
While giving direction, Justice Alok Aradhe observed that counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner had secured more marks that Babli Atri, yet Babli Atri was admitted in MD Anesthesia course in contravention of Rule 15 of J&K Reservation Rules, 2005 and it is further submitted that one more post is lying vacant for which special round of counseling is scheduled to be held today between 2 PM o 3PM and the petitioner has not been called for the same even he is more meritorious. |
