SRS seeks death penalty for stone pelters behind tourist's killing | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 10: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has demanded death penalty for the stone pelters, who were responsible for the killing of a tourist. Addressing media persons, State President Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan also demanded compensation on the tune of Rs 1 crore to deceased tourists as government is responsible to protect the tourism visiting Jammu and Kashmir State from stone pelting incidents. Mahajan urged both State and Central Governments to deal sternly with stone pelters as with every passing day they are crossing all limits as now they are targeting everyone at the behest of those who are enemies of peace in Kashmir and don't want it stable economically. He demanded NIA enquiry into the whole episode as targeting tourist is a part of well planned conspiracy to make Kashmir economically bankrupt and create panic among Kashmiris by snatching their means of livelihood as tourism not only backbone of State economy but also prominent means for most of Kashmiris to manage their family affairs. |
