Jammu, May 10: NSUI today lambasted NEET authorities for abusing students appeared in examination conducted on 6th of April 2018, it is reported that the authorities appointed to conduct entrance in various schools, raised objection on students from Sikh and Muslim communities. Authorities also directed students to enter into examination hall without, "Holy Kirpan" and "Hijab". Addressing the media Nishant Gupta, State Secretary NSUI said that these acts which trigger to spread communal violence and hatred will not be tolerated. He said that many students refused to compromise with their faith and do not attended the exam. He demanded to re-conduct NEET examination and secure future of those students and prevent their one year from wasting. Further he added that if govt fails to conduct examination again, NSUI will stage protests on roads. Further briefing to media Vikas Badhoria and Rahul Bhagat, senior NSUI leaders added that any Citizen of India has a Right to Practice any religion freely and the act of neet authorities have violated Fundamental right. NSUI condemned this act and extends its unconditional support to every organisation who are raising voice against this act including All J&K Sikh Unity Forum. |
