Akhnoor, May 10: DCM Public School, Akhnoor organized its 4th annual sports day in the school mini stadium in which students, teachers and parents participated with full enthusiasm.
Gopal Singh (KAS), SDM Akhnoor was the Chief Guest.
The event started with torching of light. Singh applauded the efforts of the children and gave away medals to the winners. Colonel Ritunjay Bahuguna, Commanding Officer 91 Field Regt, was the Guest of Honor.
Chairman of the school SP Sharma, Umesh Rekhi (President- Dhammika Kai - J&K Karate Association) and KCS Mehta (Principal - Army Public School, Akhnoor) were Special Guests.
Neha Bahuguna, Principal of the school read out the sports national and international achievements of the school.
Managing Director, Dheeraj Jamwal Sharma in his address stressed upon the role of sports in life and assured making available the best of the avenues to the students. |
