Kathua, May 10: Taking a serious view of the happenings in the Education Department Kathua, the Minister ordered attachment of Nirmal Kumar Choudhary, Chief Education Officer, Kathua and the charge of the Chief Education Officer, Kathua be given to second in command Aruna Sharma, District Education Planning Officer, Kathua till further orders.
As per report, District Education Planning Officer, Kathua reported that there is total mismanagement and chaos in the Education Department, Kathua, over a period of two months more than 90 transfers, postings and attachments have been ordered by Chief Education Officer, Kathua despite a Government Circular issued vide No. 07-Edu-of-2018 dated: 04-04-2018, that no transfers, postings be ordered in the mid session. Such unscrupulous actions of Chief Education Officer, Kathua has rendered schools non-functional and defunct particularly located at far flung areas i.e. Bani, Malhar, Macheedi and other rural areas as teachers from there have been brought to Kathua where they have no work to do, besides this it has been brought to the notice that such orders are issued in the evening from the residence of Nirmal Kumar Choudhary, Chief Education Officer, Kathua and order register and other records too have been kept by him at his residence. |
