| Chargsheet filed in Kishtwar Hotelier's murder case | | | Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, May 11: Kishtwar Police today produced Challan in hotelier Ishtaq Ahmed Dar's murder case in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar today. The 534 page chargesheet was produced by the team of police headed by Additional SP Kishtwar Parbeet Singh. The district police have taken up with the higher formations for appointment of special public prosecutor for assisting the trail of the case.
As per the details available with Early Times, on March 9, 2018 the Police Station Kishtwar received an information that some incident of fire has occurred near Jamia Masjid Kishtwar. The police parties rushed to the spot where the deceased Ishtaq Ahmad Dar was lying in the pool of blood and was later pronounced as brought dead.
After completion of all the legal formalities, receiving various evidentiary reports from various experts, the SIT headed by ASP Parbeet Singh today finally produced the 534 page chargesheet in the court of Chief Judicial Kishtwar.
Beside the ASP Kishtwar as its Chairman, Nissar Ahmed Khoja DySP Operation Kishtwar, Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh Senior Prosecuting officer Kishtwar, SHO Police station Chatroo Inspector Mohd Bashir and other are the members of SIT assisted by the clerical staff. It is pertinent to mention that the father of the deceased hotelier rejected the police investigation and called for a Crime Branch investigation adding that he had no faith in Kishtwar police investigation. |
