MPEJ calls for formulation of policies for strong Lok Pal: Rao | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: In a statement made by Kuldeep Kumar Rao, a member of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice has stated that India after attaining the independence in 1947, constitution of India was framed & adopted with the aim and object to provide good governance to the people of India. It was established in the sense that Parliament will function to discuss the problems of the people and frame the laws accordingly but that happens less as can be seen from the way the MPs behave in the House. It seems that political parties are fully aware of the misdeeds of each other but befool the public. Rao has expressed great concern over the deterioration of values & standards in the parliamentary democratic set up & procedure, in the country. Quoting examples, He said that in the last sessions of the Parliament only Tit for Tat policy was adopted by the opposition Parties. Congress has been behaving with the BJP in the same way as the later did towards former during UPA regime. Pressing for debates, demanding resignations from tainted ministers involving wastage of time & precious money of tax payers, yields nothing at the conclusion, is a routine procedure of Parliamentary democratic system, is now known to every common man with political wisdom and understanding. |
