RS PURA, May 13: SC, ST, OBC and Minority Coordination Committee (SCSTOBCMCC) RS Pura has strongly condemned the anti- SC, ST, OBC and minorities policies and programmes being implemented by the BJP-PDP coalition government.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dr Janak Raj said that most of the past state governments, either headed by Dr Farooq Abdullah or Mufli Mohd Sayeed or Ghulam Nabi Azad, they gave due share to the various segments of the society in the state.
He alleged that unfortunately the present state government is working as a pre-planned agent of RSS as it favours a few and ignore majority.
SC, ST, OBC and minorities caste their valuable votes in favour of BJP which led to its part of the state government for the first time but after assuming power it totally ignored big segment of the society. BJP gave a negligible representation to the society which deserves 3-4 cabinet, 2 MoS and 2 MLC berths in the present government.
The community is watching step motherly treatment being meted out to the SC, ST, OBC as well as minorities. They are feeling insecure in BJP ruled states like UP, MP and Rajasthan, he added.
Janak Raj warned the BJP that false promises and anti-SC, ST, OBC and minority stand viz a viz atrocities on them will not be tolerated at any cost. |
