Jammu, May 13: To create awareness among the parents Preventing abuse and learning safety (PALS) workshop was organized by the Shri Ram Universal School, Jammu on 12th and 13th May 2018 in the school premises.
Shri Educare Limited, Vice -President Operations Sudha Raja Mohan conducted the workshop and informed the parents about child abuse, its recognition and prevention. "Whether children witness or experience abuse, it can take a toll on their development", Mohan said.
It was emphasized that children thrive when children have access to safe, stable, nurturing, relationships and environment. The session was highly interactive and ensured the participation of parents by breaking their inhibitions and opening up on the sensitive issue. In the end a feedback was taken from the parents. |
