| Man escapes after allegedly murdering wife | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: A man working in HDFC bank today allegedly murdered his wife by strangulating her in a rented accommodation at Nanak Nagar area, this evening. The deceased has been identified as Neetu Sharma (26) wife of Vivek Sharma of Jindrah presently staying at Sector number 7 in Nanak Nagar.
Police sources said that after getting information they reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for autopsy and other legal formalities.
Police said that the accused managed to escape from the spot leaving behind the deceased wife and two minor girls. Police said that the absconding accused is working in loan section of HDFC bank at Bahu Plaza.
Police sources further said that elder daughter of the couple aged around five years stated that her father killed her mother and escaped from the house. After getting the information, parents of deceased who are resident of Panjthirthi immediately reached the spot and took the children with them.
Police have registered a case and started manhunt of the absconding accused while further investigation of the case is on. |
