| Sumeet Magotra launches scathing attack on Nirmal Singh | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: Senior Congress leader and INTUC State Secretary Sumeet Magotra led a protest demonstration and burnt the effigy of former deputy CM Nirmal Singh for illegal construction of building and mis-using his powers.
The protestors blocked the Dhar road and raised slogans against Singh. Magotra said that Nirmal sSngh is building his house near ammunition store of army in Nagrota which is a no construction zone. On being given reminders by the army authorities to stop the construction Nirmal did not stop the construction and blamed them for harassment.
Magotra highlighted that army base in Nagrota is a sensitive area which has also faced terrorist attack in past. Magotra added that instead of cooperating Nirmal is misusing his powers and is making silly statements against the army. |
