| HC directs respondents not to interfere in running of Banquet Hall | | |

Jammu, May 25: In a petition filed by Ranjan Gupta & Ors who have constructed a Banquet Hall in the name and style of "Bharat Regency" in accordance with law, but the respondents are not permitted them to run the Banquet Hall, High court after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma issued notice to respondents including Greater Kailash Welfare Society through its President and directed that since the petitioners have constructed the aforesaid Banquet Hall in accordance with law and have also obtained NOC from 12 Departments including the Municipal Corporation, Jammu, it is appropriate to direct the respondents not to interfere with the smooth running of Banquet Hall till next date of hearing.
Court also directed SSP Jammu that in case petitioner approached him seeking protection, he shall take appropriate action and provide protection taking into account the threat perception to the petitioners. |
