Schools defy Govt order of closing down institutions within 5 kms of border | 'TENSE SITUATION ON BORDER' | | Gurdas Kumar

Vijaypur, May 25: Considering the tense situation on border, the local administration of Samba district had issued an order to close down all educational institutions falling within 5 Kms from border but some schools have been defying the order thus risking the lives of children. Peniel Mission High School Ramgarh, Mall Shaah School remained open ignoring Government order for to avoid any untoward incident despite the fact that shelli g continues unabated killing several persons. "With each passing the number of causalities has been increasing which has created panic among the people living on border but some private schools seem unmindful of the critical situation prevailing on the border and have been disobey the order," some local residents alleged. The pictures clearly show Peniel Mission High School Ramgarh which falls withing 5 kms functioning. Children are seen sitting in class which reflects carelessness of the school management. Chief Education Officer Samba vide order No. CEOS/6504-40 issued circular wherein he directed the Govt./Private schools of border area within the range of five Kilometer shall remain close till further order. |
