| People protests against PHE Department over water scarcity | | |  Early Times Report
Mendhar, May 24: The residents of Mendhar today staged protest demonstration against Public Health Engineering Department for water shortage.
The residents of different villages assembled at Shaheed Yadghar Mendhar and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
President Dharana Welfare Committee, Mohd Iqbal said that they were facing acute shortage of drinking water. "How can we survive and send our children to schools without availability of drinking water", she questioned.
A deputation of different villages from Mendhar met SDM Mendhar Dr Tanvir Ahmed Khan and highlighted the issue of shortage of drinking water. SDM Mendhar directed the PHE department to redress the grievances of the people at the earliest. |
