| Central Para Military Pensioners hold meet at Akhnoor | | | EarlyTimes Report
AKHNOOR, May 25: A meeting of former Central Para Military pensioners was held at Akhnoor today under the chairmanship of Surjit Singh, Assistant Commandant (Retd) which was attended by large number of pensioners. The participants condemned the act of Pakistan for unprovoked firing in various sectors at IB and LoC targeting security forces and civilian population in which number of security forces and civilian population have lost their lives/sustained injuries. The participants expressed condolences to the families of the personnel who have lost their lives during the firing and also prayed for peaceful rest of their souls. They also expressed shock and sympathy for the injured personnel of security forces and civilians. The participants felt proud over the border guarding forces that are bravely fighting and effectively retaliating the fire with full might. The participants asked government to deal with Pakistan with iron hands. The participants urged upon the government to pay equal pay, pension and other benefits to the central para military forces. |
