JAMMU, May 25: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) in collaboration with JK Insurance Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Star Health Insurance and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Narayana Superspeciality Hospital conducted free 'Medical-cum-Health Check up Camp' at University Health Centre, Chatha Campus.
A team of consultants from SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Kakryal, Katra conducted check up and provided consultancy. Prof. Pradeep. K. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu inaugurated the camp, wherein Dr Ankush Sharma (Consultant Neurology), Dr Ashwani Kumar (Consultant Internal Medicine), Dr Nitee Gupta (Consultant Ophthalmology), Dr Pooja Padha (Medical Specialist) and Dr Sumit Sharma (Medical Specialist) gave consultation to around 128 staff members and students of University. Free medical tests such as ESR, RA Factor, CRP, Blood group, ECG and RBS were also carried out at the camp. Dr Anil Gupta (Medical Officer, Health Centre), Prof. T.A.S. Ganai (Director Education, SKUAST-Jammu) and Dr. Akhil Gupta (Deputy Director Student Welfare, SKUAST-Jammu) coordinated the camp. |
