JTC, SKF hold meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 28: A Joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President of JTC/SKF (J&K). The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. During the course of meeting discussion were held over the difficulties being faced by the Migrant community. While addressing the participants Shadi Lai Pandita said that the Government should ensure implementation of Prime Minister’s employment package in letter and spirit by filling up of remaining posts under this package. A demand has also been made for announcing 1000 posts of class IV posts for the Kashmiri Pandit migrant youth without merit basis who could not continue their studies beyond 10th class due to financial sufferings. Pandita has said that the previous coliation Govt. assured for announcing 10000 posts over and above the Prime Ministers employment package for Kashmiri Pandit Migrant youth for absorbing them in different Govt. Departments but nothing has been done till date. A demand has been made for fulfilling the Govt. commitment of announcing 10000 posts for Kashmiri Pandit educated youth. Pandita has also demanded that the present coliation Govt. of PDP and BJP should ensure release of pending Ex-gratia relief to the concerned beneficiaries without any further delay enabling these beneficiaries to overcome present financial sufferings. A demand has also been made for sanctioning and release of compensation in favour of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant families on account of losses suffered by them due to damages to their properties in Kashmir valley during past 28 years of migration. |
