| All officers of Kathua district administration go missing! | | People seek action against erring officers | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, May 28: Absence of all district officers including DC, ADC, ACR and Tehsildar Kathua from district administration complex on Monday put people coming there in large numbers to huge inconvenience as they had to return empty handed in scorching heat.
People have questioned the 'good governance' claims of the state government and the propriety of the district administration wherein all the nodal officers left the complex together, leaving people in a dilemma.
Pankaj Dogra, a local who had come to the district administrative complex for an official work alleged that people who had come from remote areas of Nagri, Bani, Billawar, Basholi, Mahanpur, Ramkot and Hiranagar were clueless to find that none of the officers was present in the office.
Som Raj Majotra said people have lot of expectations from the present Government and it is the responsibility of the government officials to come up to their expectations of people and mitigate the problems faced by them. He appealed to chief Minister to take action against those who stay away from offices during public hours putting general public to misery. |
