President Rajput Sabha visits Chenani, peripheral areas

UDHAMPUR, May 28: President Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, J&K today visited Chenani Nag Mandir, Karlah Patnitop and other villages in the vicinity in district Udhampur.
Interacting with community members, the president Rajput Sabha, Narayan Singh assured to sort out various issues confronting them.
A large number of Biradri members attended the meeting and interacted with the president. The Biradri members demanded regular visit of the president in their area, so that they could apprise the President about the problems being faced by Rajput Community from time to time for their early redressal.
At Chenani, Tehsil President Rajput Sabha Chenani and other community members raised the issues vigorously before the president and demanded that issues should be sorted out at the earliest. The main thrust of the Biradri members was on the construction of Sabha Bhawan at Chenani, declaration of Gazetted Holiday on Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh and reservation to economically weaker sections.
The president assured the Biradri members that as regards the construction of Sabha Bhawan at Chenani, the land is to be identified, so that steps to construct the Bhawan could be initiated. As regards social evils, the Biradri should minimize the expenses on social customs and functions. As regards special drive for recruitments in belt forces and declaration of Gazetted Holiday on Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh, the issues are being taken up with appropriate forums, he added.
