5/28/2018 10:52:09 PM
Early Times Report

BILLAWAR, May 28: General Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma conducted a two day tour to participate in various social and religious functions at different villages of Billawar constituency
The villages visited by Dr Manohar Lal included Thanthu, Kandharanoo, Mallid-Kantal, Gurah Kalyal, Billawar town, Morhain, Mela and Tokal.
While interacting with the local people there, he said that Modi's government did nothing in four years for common men of country and has nothing on ground to show except price escalation of essential commodities. Dr Sharma expressed serious concern over the many fold price rise of the petrol and diesel which will further lead to price escalation of all commodities specially food grains and other items of daily use including transportation charges and passenger fare. It is first time in the history of country that petrol and diesel prices have increased up to Rs 85 and Rs 75 per liter respectively. Sharma said that Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders used to accuse the UPA government for price rise during the Parliamentary elections but BJP and its leadership is completely silent over this unprecedented price rise by increasing excise duty on fuel instead to cut the excise duty.
Dr Sharma pointed out that the state BJP-PDP and Modi led government at centre completely destroyed the job creation mechanism in the country as well the state which has ruined the future of the youth.
