JKNPP not to allow security of Jammu be compromised: Harsh Dev Singh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 28: Accusing the BJP-PDP government of criminal disregard for the security concerns of Jammu, Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP Chairman said that the recurrent tensions on the IB and LOC, infiltrations from across the borders, terror attacks and shelter to Rohingyas and Bangladeshis had created an alarming situation in the region. He was addressing a press conference in Jammu today. Making a mention of the recent grenade attack in Bus stand Jammu besides Sunjwan terror attack, Singh regretted that the government neither apprehended anyone nor had it any clue about the agency involved in the said terror attack. He said that the needle of suspicion clearly pointed towards the illegal immigrants who had already been described as 'ticking time bombs' by the intelligence agencies. Alleging a deep rooted conspiracy behind the settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis by the previous government and showering of premiums and doles upon them by the present unholy alliance, Singh said that the security of Jammu and its vicinity and adjoining districts had been severely jeopardized. He said that BJP which had been blaming previous government for their illegal settlement was more to blame in view of various civic amenities including Aadhar cards, ration cards, electric and water connections and even PRCs having been provided to them during their rule. "With GoM constituted earlier under chairmanship of Dr. Nirmal Singh having become defunct, the newly proposed commission by the BJP is nowhere in sight. BJP is keeping the Kashmir centric leaders and the separatists in good humour by shutting its eyes to the most dangerous issue which has been haunting Jammu region for a long time now. The ticking time bombs are involved in drug trafficking, flesh trade, desecration acts and terror attacks and could not be allowed to reside in the state even under the existing laws of the state", remarked Harsh. He said that not only the disruptive forces were required to be exposed for their nefarious designs but a united move was required to fight them and defeat them. Observing that NPP would not allow the security of Jammu to be compromised in any case, Singh cautioned that a movement shall be launched in case the illegally settled Rohingyas and Bangladeshis were not evicted at the earliest. |
