| Rs 50 lakh fail to bring water to Magyote Khul | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 28: A Khul (artificial canal ) situated in Magyote Village in district Udhampur and constructed in the year 2005 to solve the water woes of the local farmers has gone in vain.
Mahadeep Singh Advocate and local resident of Magyote village submitted a RTI to know the factual position of Khul and RTI revealed that Rs. 50.16 lakh spent on said khul 12 years ago has no water. He alleged that on ground the funds were not utilized properly. He has sought a high level inquiry into the matter. |
