| Without water, electricity in Holy month | | |

Poonch, June 1: During the holy month of Ramadan, the people of border district Poonch are facing acute shortage of power. According to the sources people of different areas have expressed their strong resentment over negligent district officers. They accused them of depriving them of drinking water and electricity. Locals said, they have many problems during prayer (Nimaz) traveh due to shortage of water. They said shortage of electricity during night hours especially makes life difficult for them.
Locals have appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and take appropriate action. |
